The event is a fundraiser for the non-profit group Young Professionals from the Heart of Northern Michigan. The purpose is to encourage potential young business owners to start their businesses, purchase their homes and live in our area. We want to provide the opportunity for them to meet local business owners and hear their thoughts and opinions about managing their own local business as well as put them in front of area employers and organizations looking to network. This event facilitates the conversation of why our area is a great place to live, work and play in a fun, social, and low-pressure way.
