Who is Starla?
Starla is our beloved, red and white, 1963 Corvair 95 Rampside. Joining the Short’s brew crew in 2014, Starla serves as an ambassador for our hand-crafted, Northern Michigan ciders.
Drafted into our fleet for her strapping good looks and bed side door, Starla helped us to make our first ever deliveries of Starcut Ciders throughout Northern Michigan. With kegs tucked into her bed, Starla was piloted by the Short’s, Starcut Ciders, and Imperial Beverage family as we delivered ciders to over 25 local accounts. Having grown considerably since 2015, Starla doesn’t physically make it to every account these days. Instead, she’s featured prominently on every Starcut Ciders bottle cap.
Little is known about Starla’s history before her move to Michigan, but we imagine it was pretty neat. These days, you can #SpotStarla at Starcut events throughout our home state, Michigan.
