Pomme Noir

Pomme Noir is an experimental dry cider fermented with Michigan apples and Sinamar (malt extract). Nearly black in color and pouring with an uncharacteristic head, this cider smells of apple, caramel, and roast. A dominant apple flavor is accompanied by light roast and caramel flavors attributed to the addition of Sinamar. Overall, this cider is reminiscent of an Irish Stout and cider hybrid. The finish is dry.
